The NSRA's Scottish Meeting is being followed by the Scottish Southern Counties' annual Field Day on the same range, and this will incorporate a round of the Scottish Smallbore Rifle  Association's Grand Prix series.  The NSRA meeting takes place from Saturday 30th June to Friday 6th July, and the SSCA meeting runs on Saturday/Sunday 7th/8th July.

The National Smallbore Rifle Association's annual  Scottish Championships returns to Lauder after a break of 5 years. (See above for the dates.)

This is a 7-day meeting which culminates with the Final of the Earl Haig Scottish Individual Championship on the last Friday afternoon.  The qualifying stage is on the first Sunday, and on both the Saturday and Sunday competitors can shoot unsquadded competitions.  The weekdays are devoted to the squadded competitions, with Classes B, C & D shooting on Monday and Wednesday, and Classes X, & A shooting on Tuesday and Thursday.  In addition, unsquadded shooting can take place at all times when there is range space.  The Home Countries International takes place on the Friday morning.

Unsquadded shooting comprises team shoots for clubs and counties as well as several other individual competitions (eg junior, veterans, any sights) as well as an Unsquadded Aggregate which comprises 80 shots at 50m and 60 at 100yds.

Entries for the  Scottish must be made to the NSRA by Wednesday 30th May.  Late entries can be made, subject to late fees, but not to the squadded aggregate competitions.  See the NSRA's website to download an entry form (Take the Competitions link at the top, then the entry form link on the left.  You will require Adobe Reader.)
