The NSRA's Scottish Meeting is being followed by the Scottish Southern Counties' annual Field Day on the same range, and this will incorporate a round of the Scottish Smallbore Rifle  Association's Grand Prix series.  The NSRA meeting takes place from Saturday 30th June to Friday 6th July, and the SSCA meeting runs on Saturday/Sunday 7th/8th July.

The 'Scottish' is being held at Lauder once again, and, instead of just incorporating a closed prize list run concurrently with the NSRA's competition to act as a substitute for their own annual open meeting, the Scottish Southern Counties Association have decided to make use of the NSRA's range for the Saturday and Sunday following the end of the NSRA's meeting.

In addition, the SSRA are joining them in running a prone Grand Prix on the Saturday.

This arrangement is similar to what has taken place at Castletown for the last two years after the Scottish meetings there, which incorporated a Grand Prix with the Caithness Open Meeting.

A local shooting and fishing dealer - J & A Turnbull of Bank St, Galashiels - has kindly offered to sponsor two of the main competitions.  500 Eley Tenex will be presented to the winners of the Grand Prix and the Liddle-Grainger Championship (the SSCA's open individual championship)..
