The County Sextette is a competition for county teams of six, shooting an unsquadded Dewar course at the Scottish National Meeting run by the NSRA annually at a different venue each year in Scotland.

The 'Scottish' was held at Castletown near Thurso in 2011 and despite the handicap of the county not having a Captain to organise it officially, a team was magically entered and the following represented Lothian this year:

The team were placed 8th from the entry of 11 teams. It was won by the local county Caithness with a score of 2312. The extremely windy conditions were difficult for some of our less experienced shooters to deal with.
